So there was a time when the GOP, far and away, had a FAR worse civil liberties record than the Democrats. No debate, the GOP is awful, crafted the Patriot Act, etc. But at this juncture, between drone bombings, illegal wars in Libya, Benghazi, NSA, AP, DOJ, just the entire swamp of misdeeds from this president, I think the Democrats have lost the moral high ground on civil liberties, they are as bad as Republicans.
I find it interesting that none of the Moonbat League has come to the defense of Dear Leader. He took what Bush did and turned it into his personnel political attack machine. I would bet a years income he makes Bush look like the founding fathers.
He needs to be removed from office period. At this point I would gladly take the moron Biden.

I just hope the next president stops this cycle...

Keep hoping. You know its not going to come from the left, especially if Hillary runs. She will be just as bad if not worse than anyone else in history. And the GOP needs to get its act together and rally around Tea Party like candidates. No, not just anyone, but someone like Cruz, who actually has a clue about what the Constitution is, and the will to defend it.

I would honestly vote for Al Gore or Ralph Nader at this point. They would be awful economically, but I would seriously vote for a true progressive over any toe-the-line GOP candidate.

Which candidates are that? How do you get enough people to be aware of that candidate?
Make it more attractive? lol
If an ideology of personal responsibilty, limited/ no government, non intervention and property rights aren't attractive to you from the outset, its not for you
