But Mr. Cheney, what Top Secret info was leaked?

You'd be surprised what may or may not come our way as researchers from fellow colleagues who either directly or indirectly know people who work for gov agencies. I won't say any more about that as I don't want to jeopardize anyone's (or my) clearance.

It's sad that an NSA "leak" is considered a distraction. That really must mean the stuff it's deflecting from was pretty bad.

I think this is at the heart of the Obama administration and its database on us.

O is worse than Nixon. He's J Edgar, redux.

I hope at the trial the accused plays a video of: "My administration will be transparent. Hope and change is what I bring to this country. All dealings will be done on CSPAN."

Yeah, OK. The US Intelligence Community have a very difficult and dangerous job to do. Sometimes the specifics of the process need to be held in close control. The Congress has the oversight of the process, we elect them, in part, to do that job. They were apprised of details of these specific leaks prior to the reporting to the general public. The leaker and any American press people involved, should be help accountable.

What specifics were given? More stuff than what was leaked makes it way (in a candid manner) through the research community.

Still being assessed ... But what was leaked is probably less important than the fact that it was leaked.

The Obama administration seems to have more than its fair share of leakers, that's for sure.
They need to vet their people with Top Secret clearance better than what they do now.

You could hold hearings but I think all Congress will get is "I didn't know", "I wasn't aware", "I'm taking the Fifth", "Must have been rogue employees".
