Tax rates went up on income including an increase in payroll taxes. How does it help the poor to punish the 1% who are typically job creators?

I'm just curious how raising taxes is helping you?

It doesn't, but people like to see the big guy punished.
It's the deep pockets mentality. They have more so they can afford to pay more. They have a lot so make them pay all.
ever wonder about lawsuits where the jury awards massive sums of money? Deep pockets mentality.
That company has millions they can afford to pay. The company being Right or wrong has nothing to do with it.

Because the rich haven't been creating jobs, even though their taxes are at record lows - so that doesn't really make sense.

Also, when Clinton raised taxes, the economy improved, so this whole lower taxes on the rich so they will create jobs thing is actually entirely false.

Awww, those poor poor rich people. They've had to put up with so much. I mean, really, they have to drive the same car more than one year.

I am sure Sam Walton, Bill Gates, Warren Buffet, Steve Jobs... are among the worst job creators.

What did Clinton raising taxes have to do with the economy improving? Clinton raising taxes was not a causal event in an improving economy...

Can you answer the question asked in the original post, or do you actually have nothing to add here?

That is your business... how? If they keep changing cars, we would need more workers, from designers, engineers, to janitors, to build more cars. It's good for the economy.

Anything wrong with that?

Most jobs are created by small business.
