All I'm asking is this this, michelle bachmann was tea party republicans. If the conservative talking point is that you are about small government, fiscal responsibility, why did you nominate a moderate from a liberal state?

If the Republican party is to survive, they are going to need to shift away from the right wing extremist and towards a more positive message -- rather than constantly beating the drum that the country is on the verge of collapse and that certain minority groups are to blame.

The Tea Party is done. The majority of the country doesn't want a conservative Christian theocracy.
I hope you don't ever have to make a living as a political commentator.

This enstupidated gibberish wouldn't even get on MSNBC.

Bachman is not about small government or fiscal responsibility.

She seems to very popular among conservatives. I'm really serious about this question because this is something I constantly read online, is that conservatives stayed home.

P.S. for my fellow liberals, i know she is bat **** crazy. this question is for the conservatives.
The fact which the right wing loons are ignoring is that Republican voter turn out in 2012 was higher than any election since 1980 yet they still lost. Why? Because there just aren't enough Republicans especially when the vast majority of moderate think the Republicans are loons and won't vote for them. They had record turn outs so, no, its a lie to claim their voters stayed home and instead they lost the middle and that's why they lost. FACT.

Only thing I know of where she has tried to limit government is an attempt to repeal Dood-Frank and an attempt to repeal Obamacare.

That hardly makes her "small government."

Everything else she seems to be in favor of government involvement. Hell, it's not even like she called for the feds to get out of healthcare or leave Wall Street alone like they should. She just wanted to not regulate them as much.

There are no small government Republicans in D.C. And the Tea Party is not small government either. They just don't want it to expand as much as the Democrats.

It's not like Republicans have ever made any serious attempt to eliminate government involvement in anything.

She was too conservative.

She was also whiny. Embarrassing during the debates. Need more?

Pelosi has clearly attained more in her time in Congress. But every time she opens her mouth, she displays much of the same lack of intellect as Bachmann.

She's from California, a hugely important state to Democrats. It is no wonder she fared better when the Dems controlled the House.
