Invariably, they never back them up with any actual facts or references... because they can't.
You are right, this is probably a fake protest because we both know gun nuts would never act on any of their claims.

I don't think any self respecting gun owner would do anything with a loaded gun, much less to to a rally in support of the 2A.

I know this is giving you lefties a rabid hard on, hoping someone would/will get shot so you can say see see see I told ya.

I'm on a few gun boards and have seen nothing of the sort come out saying anything like this is supposed to happen....

Still waiting for a link...if the march is that big, then there should be something out there...one would think...

Are you saying that calling on 10,000 strangers who've never met, to bring their loaded guns to Washington, DC is a GOOD idea?????? I suspected you're a fool, now you have an opportunity to prove it.
"Look out! He's got a gun!"
Oh, wait....

And there is the rub, we all know the left is severely lacking common sense.

They won't do it, or like 10 people will show up. Right wing rallies never have any kind of turnout unless they are bussed in by the Koch's or Beck tells them to go there.

I tend to agree with you. Most the gun owners I know are upstanding citizens and pillars of the community. Firemen, LEOs and business owners on main street. But........then there are a few who are just bat-s#it crazy and I wouldn't go to the range with them if all they had was an airsoft. How does one separate the wheat from the chaff, so to speak? Especially at an event like this?

I think that as there is no site or definite place to go to get the straight poop on this, it may just be a fringe gun owner's wet dream. More of a "Hey! wouldn't it be cool if we all loaded up our weapons and........".

Agreed, unfortunately most of those so called gun nuts also work for a living. It's not as easy for
them to free up time for trips to D.C. as is it for those on the dole.

Over the years, we have had many pro gun rallies. Many with loaded gun carriers. Please tell me why this one would have violence and not the others. The few rallies in the past where there there may have been a few mild confrontations were caused by the anti-gun folks doing something stupid.

Everyday, we have thousands of gun carrying owners passing by each on the streets with their guns and no issues. We have the problem with non law abiding gun owners that cause the problems and they wont be found at a rally.

Most people who carry are not the people you need to worry about. The people you need to worry about are the ones in NY who would rob a house if it was known that they have guns. Am I trying to agree with the "'good guy' with a gun is the only way to stop a 'bad guy' with a gun" logic the NRA uses, not at all. I am just saying these laws that people think will "protect us" will end up "hurting us" by giving criminals more outs or not stopping them from seeing the black market.

Yes I am a gun owner but I want to see more gun responsibility rather gun control. With the right to own a gun, comes the responsibilities that come from owning it. Most gun owners know this and are responsible law abiding people.
