Speaking of Fox...I found something really amazingly telling about them yesterday. I am not familiar with the names of the hosts of their shows, but they (2) were interviewing a Muslim sociology professor or some such and he was explaining that they have programs set up to teach impressionable Muslim youth how to assimilate and not be coaxed and enticed into radicalism. I could not believe that the two hosts of the show never asked the next obvious question..."HOW does this work?"
They thanked him, cut to a break and when they came back he was gone. Really, they sat there like two ventriloquist dummies when I'm sure people would have been interested to know more about what he had to say. Talk about talking heads...their's were totally empty and void of any journalistic or intellectual curiosity.
Actually, the article itself says they reported the Fake arrest. I would also like to mention the MSNBC/NBC news never reported the fake arrest story.
That being said, the article continues on to make even less sense by saying MSNBC's anchors were not ready for the crisis even though most of them were not even on because of the crisis. MSNBC stayed with its local affiliates.
The person who wrote this article obviously wasnt watching MSNBC.
FOX was reporting the same things CNN was reporting, they were both wrong, but i guess having more people watch you being wrong makes up for it.
NBC had the highest ratings of the broadcast channels ( they have the best cameras of the Big 4)
CNN had the highest ratings of any cable networks( people forget just how old FOX viewers skew)

I watched all three major cable networks without bias. I constantly flipped between all three during the entire event and over multiple days.
Honestly, MSNBC had by far the best coverage for this event. Unlike CNN and Fox News, they never once jumped the gun. Pete Williams was constantly beating the other networks on the true scoops.
CNN was a joke and was constantly behind MSNBC in reporting.
Fox News seemed to always have an "expert" on the split screen instead of reporters in the field and still had Greg Gutfeld on, bitching about the wording President Obama used to describe the perpetrators, on Thursday when the FBI was showing the pictures of the suspects.
Honestly, MSNBC took CNN and Fox News to school on this one.
