Seriously - you do know that all guns used by criminals are first bought legally, then sold to bad guys. MOst often reported as "stolen".
Need to raise the cost of straw man purchases. and if you can't secure your deadly weapon, then George is waiting.

Hey guys, like I predicted before....the Democrats don't want to lose 10 senate seats pushing gun legislation.
So they will put forth bills with enough ridiculous provisions that the republicans will defeat it and they can say they tried while passing the political buck.
Many many bills are put forth like this solely for politics. The Republicans are just as bad at it. Politics 101.

Yea...whatever. What the real goal is, here, is to stigmatize firearms owners, and place punitive restrictions on the ownership of firearms. None of this, current, nonsense ,has a THING to do with stopping criminals, or public safety. This is all about getting firearms owners rounded up, into a neat little pen, so the culling and branding will be easier.
Seems to me, folks like you, would like to see ALL gun owners in jail, because in your mind, just owning a gun is crime enough. You and your ban happy cronies, don't care ic these proposed laws will do any good, which they won't. It's about burying the shooting culture community in your excrement. Forcing your views on us, demonizing us, and showcasing your blatant bigotry, which you think of as being morally superior to us.
You mean all I have to do to get 5 years of free room and board, plus good medical care (at my age it would be "end of life" care) is to take a gun that "they" know I have, and grease it up, put in in a Zip-Lock bag, and bury it in the back yard, and tell "them" it was stolen a week ago, but I didn't care, so I didn't report it?
