I'm a Jewish guy married to a Mexican-American. I wonder what some of the posters here would have said about that 40 years ago. In most states, we could have been arrested.
I bet the comments would look like this:
-"That **** can't marry a beaner."
-"Only disgusting people would live so immorally."
-"If they want to have sick, disgusting children something must be done."
When DOMA goes down, conservatives will be able to marry their livestock. Calling someone's girlfriend a heifer will take on a new meaning. "Clyde married that heifer from over in Verne's pasture." What is wrong with that?

And I could go on for days.
There were no legal prohibitions to Jews and Mexicans getting married. Did you ever look at her birth certificate. It says Caucasian. Maybe you would raise an eyebrow or two in New York, but not where I live. Mixed marriages with Mexicans have been going on in the southwest since Spanish colonial times.

Do you all ever get tired of such ridiculous arguments? Striking down DOMA doesn't make bestiality legal. The fact that you need to be reminded of that is deeply troubling.

The only practical thing I can do is try to persuade my state legislators to continue to ban gay marriage in my state.
Until the Supreme Court makes that legal, and then we get to laugh at your state being forced to marry gays!
