If DOMA is struck down...
If the court rules the fed has no business denying benefits to people in states that recognize gay marriage or unions...
If gay marriage is legalized...
If marital benefits are extended equally to all...
If marital benefits are removed...
What will you do? My life won't actually change, but there seems to be so much "crazy" opposition that I'm wondering what will you do.
Will you move to a different state? Different country? Campaign against gay marriage even more? Home-school your kids? Become Amish?
Do tell...
I'd pray for the lawmakers who voted to legalize it, for they know not what they do.

Go about my normal life, and be happy people who love each other can marry, gay or straight.
So gay marriage will become legal if DOMA is struck down?
Gay marriage will become legal, its only a matter of time. The Supreme Court has routinely held the belief that marriage is a value protected by the pursuit of happiness.
Only if one uses their bible to judge others by who have nothing in the way of desire for your bible. Morality is subjective. I am a moral person and using your bible to judge me with is discrimination. No wonder so many think that people who are overly religious are nut jobs, because they are. Keep your bible out of my life and out of law.
I'm assuming you don't count Bill Clinton as one of those bigots? You know, the one that signed DOMA into law?
Liberals are all strangely silent on that little fact. As well as the one that Obama supported it up until about a year ago. No doubt, they're desperately trying to figure out how to blame this on the GOP with regards to history. Kind of like they try to change history about civil rights, etc.
Don't you conservatives get sick of writing civil rights history in a way that makes future generations look down upon you?
I have never understood how such a blatantly discriminatory law was ever passed or remains Constitutional. Marriage is, in essence, a business contract between two, or more, individuals combining property assets and obligations. Preventing a business contract between consenting adults because of their sex or sexual preference is clearly improper extension of governmental power.
The Republicans have always been more concerned with protecting their vision of a past that never existed than protecting the individual right to equal protection under the Law. Their Christian Fundamentalist, including the LDS, have always tried to make their religion the law of the land. I will not tolerate any Religion using the force of law to pressure me into believing that their God is supreme. I have the right to believe of not.
