I don't think Obama is Satan; I just think he is an idiot, as the Bible tells us that Satan can be clever with deception. Obama is stumbling, obtuse and obvious. It is suggested that the anti-Christ will come from wealth and be very charming and persuasive. Obama comes from middle class grandparents and is far from charming or persuasive.
I think the concern of a lot of people is the gross level of disrespect, outright hatred, and probable intent that the likeness suggests. We have a vaguely-accurate series covering Christian and ancient Hebrew mythology, produced by political/religious conservatives and presented on the "History" Channel.
Unlike some of the unsavory media representations of past presidents, this one is not found within the context of an obvious parody or a political editorial. It is an extraordinarily close likeness to Obama which, at least unconsciously, equates the president to the single most obvious personification of evil to be found in the human imagination. It's safe to assume that someone on the production team did this intentionally and with malice.
Too bad producer Mark Burnett chose to sully stories of faith with a cheap political shot. Or did he?
"British-born American television producer Mark Burnett created the series with his wife, Touched By an Angel star Roma Downey. Downey identifies as a devout Catholic, but has never made any political affiliations known. Burnett, on the other hand, actually donated $2,300 to the Obama campaign during the 2008 election, and then to the Democratic National Committee after Obama took office. It should also be noted that Burnett has worked with both Donald Trump and Sarah Palin for their respective reality shows - but that really speaks less than the fact that he has donated large sums of money to Obama and the Democratic party." http://www.complex.com/pop-culture/2...resident-obama
It's unfortunate that people who enjoy this show are sullying their experience of it with cheap politics.

Ronald Wison Reagan
You want to know how liberals twisted that name?
I'll tell you. They called Reagan the anti-Christ, the devil, etc, etc....
Why? Because each of his names has 6 letters in it.
History said in a statement that the network has "the highest respect" for Obama, and that "it's unfortunate that anyone made this false connection."
"Both Mark and I have nothing but respect and love our president, who is a fellow Christian," said Downey, the "Touched By an Angel" actress who is married to Burnett. "False statements such as these are just designed as a foolish distraction to try and discredit the beauty of the story of the Bible."
Hmmm. So Burnett, a self-proclaimed Obama adoree, denies any intention of portraying Satan to look like Obama. "Utter nonsense", says Burnett.
Yeah, utter nonsense. I don't know, it's a close call, who looks more alike?
