Yes, the parents should compromise. My anger was only for the posters who were acting like this beautiful little girl is some kind of freak simply because of the way she was born.

This boy was born a boy and I think it's her parents, at the ripe old age of 18 months, that made the decision for him to dress him as a girl. That age is too young to have any understanding at all on gender and these parents are doing this child great harm in persisting in their abusive behavior.

I don't think anybody think the BOY is a freak. I think people think HIS parents are freaks.

He was born a boy. His parents are making him a freak. Because there is no WAY an 18 month old can decide they are a girl rather than a boy.

Just out if curiosity, would you consider this American man, the one who won, to be "feminized"?

He's Chad Smith, openly gay MMA fighter.

And would you consider this guy to be a "manly man?"

That is David Bowie, British singer and 100% heterosexual whose been known to sleep with supermodels.

Bottom line: masculinity and femininity have NOTHING to do with sexual preference or identity.

In America, people are free to be whatever they want to be as long as it isn't hurting anyone...you can even believe that God was so nice and cute and cuddly that he had his only son nailed to a big wooden "T" so that murders and rapist could get a "go to heaven free card" if they say they believe in him the day before they are executed

You may get laughed at, but that's about it. This should be America's national anthem:

Absolutely!! Lots of little kids like to dress or act like the opposite sex, but I don't think they are old enough at 6, much less 18 months to decide they were truly born the wrong sex.

And since when can anyone just say what sex they want to be and have it printed on their passport?

If she reached for the lipstick and the dress on her own, then the freaky thing to do would be to slap her hand and force a G.I. Joe into her palm.

Let the kid be what she wants to be, as long as it isn't hurting anyone. It is a parenting choice.
