Exactly what is wrong with America today. While the wacko left goes further to the left, the right and moderate move further to the left. Proof of that can be seen in the insanity of legalizing millions of third world invaders. IN-SANE.

I don't think Eisenhower had the same vision. He had to get how many military back to work, after they returned from europe?
I like IKE's idea to rid the nation of illegal parasites.

Obama is the one who came up with the sequestration. Now he LIES about it.

Dim, d@mn, dum Dems, listening to the LeftWing media.
** Leadership: The republican leaders are John Boehner, Mitch McConnell, and Rush Limbaugh, and they want no "leadership" from Obama.
** Sequestration: Ah, more Fox. Here is the real story on the sequestration. It was Obama's idea, and republicans supported it.
Whose Sequester Is It Anyway? : It's All Politics : NPR

"Though Obama proposed the idea, it's unlike Obamacare — which received no GOP House votes. Indeed, 174 House Republicans, a majority of the majority, joined 95 Democrats to pass the plan in that body. So Republicans arguably own the sequester as much as Obama, if not more so, since Obama never wanted to link spending cuts to the debt ceiling".

** Obstructionism: You are speaking from within your own Fox bubble, have done zero homework , and are proud of the fact. You are proudly reading the Fox script.
Here's some news for you - Fox talking heads are not learned or informed people - they are corporate shills.
Republican Obstruction at Work: Record Number of Filibusters | NEWS JUNKIE POST

The following is excerpted, but there is more:
"Clear Pattern of Obstruction
This is all part of the Republican plan to deliberately stop government from working, as part of a playbook to retake Congress and hamstring the change voted for in 2008, and one that is eerily similar to the one they used in 1994.
This playbook consists of 5 distinct steps:
Step 1: Avoid Responsibility for GOP Failures
Step 2: Increase Negativity
Step 3: “Throw the Bums Out!”
Step 4: The New Contract On America
Step 5: Retake Congress

Where the filibuster should have a legitimate role in a functional democracy to protect minority rights, it is a procedure that is highly susceptible to abuse. In the past, this was always kept in check by the morality of individual senators, but in the 111th Congress, the sheer number of times it has been used indicate a clear pattern and dangerous precedent".

Mitch McConnell and Rand Paul are two leaders of the obstructionist filibuster strategy in the Senate.

It's not enough? What is not enough?
Which video? The interview? What about it?
You are not engaging in a discussion by just asking if I saw one of your videos of Rand Paul speaking. I have heard him speak on several occasions.
You seemingly have also replied to a post of mine without bothering to read it.

Yes, the sequester does nothing to cut into the debt.

It is not enough.
It needs to be a lot more.

So you support Simpson-Bowles cuts and are against gaining revenue through tax fairness?

Corporate Taxpayers & Corporate Tax Dodgers, 2008-2010 | Citizens for Tax Justice
“These 280 corporations received a total of nearly $224 billion in tax subsidies,” said Robert McIntyre, Director at Citizens for Tax Justice and the report’s lead author. “This is wasted money that could have gone to protect Medicare, create jobs and cut the deficit.”

Facebook Will Pay No Taxes, Get Huge Refund Instead
"Facebook made $1.1 billion in profits. But thanks to some nifty accounting, the company won't be paying any federal or state taxes on it — instead, it will actuallybe receiving a federal tax refund of about $429 million".

A tax refund on a billion in profits, while the middle class shoulders the tax burden and has programs cut?? Who do you think pays for that tax refund?? I thought the tea party was against this sort of nonsense.
There are plenty more examples, but I truly don't understand the right-wing view on balancing the budget via cuts only while taxing the middle class and giving more tax breaks to billionaires at the same time. Is the idea to destroy government? Seriously...

And Rand Paul is one who supports this approach.

I'll take anyone, that is trying to obstruct the fundamental change in the USA and to the Constitution, toward socialism and social engineering, destroying the Constitution.

Obstruct away.

On a side note, Harry Reid has obstructed over 100 bills sent to the Senate from the House.
Why did Harry Reid not bring them to the floor for a vote? Because he didn't have the "NO" vote to defeat the bills. They would have passed with bi-partisan support......

Fair taxes, do not punish someone for working and making a living to feed their families. It is a penalty to be more prosperous.

Fair taxes would be paid at time of purchase. The more it cost the more taxes you pay. The rich will pay more taxes.
