To you...it is foolish to me when the opposing team is of the same nationality. Nonsensical actually.
Let me bring you up to speed as to what you've missed going on in that part of the USA.
1000 students protesting immigration reform, (not exactly a small group) took down the US flag, stole the CA state flag and hung the MEXICAN FLAG with the US flag upside down below it.
More than 100 students were spotted wearing the colors of the Mexican flag -- red, white and green -- as they left school, including some who had the flag painted on their faces or arms, the Morgan Hill times reported.
The idea that it being disruptive is also complete bullsh!t. If they were in the library I could see them being a nuisance, but they were at an athletic event where cheering is, duh, commonplace. Nothing these kids said or did warrants suspension. I cannot wait until the school administrator loses his job. If I'm the father of one of these kids and this suspension harms my kid's efforts into getting into a college, the administrator is going to severely regret his decision. And yes, that is a threat.
