An Atlanta mom took matters into her own hands on Friday when confronting an intruder. The unidentified woman hid with her 9-year-old twins in a crawlspace as a man broke into her house and began rummaging through it. The alleged burglar, Paul Ali Slater, eventually found the family’s hiding space, but not before finding himself staring down the barrel of a .38 revolver. The woman fired six shots, five of which hit Slater in the face and neck, but he managed to flee after the family ran to a neighbor’s house. Slater is expected to survive.
This is why every home should have at least 2 guns

One wonders if this "alleged" burglar is now a born again Christian. The description above sounds like an epitaph, followed by nothing short of a divine miracle.
after the first shot he didn't flee? makes you wonder why he would stand there and get 4 more. I dare say he needs a new line of work cause he sucks at being a thief.
Previous mug shot for Paul Ali Slater suggests he is inclined to being a thug. I'd bet he think's that Obama's entitlements (welfare) just ain't enough for him, and feels entitled to what other folks have. Thank goodness the mother had a weapon, but.....
....Five hits from a .38??!! Paul Ali Slater will probably end up suing the victim.
Just go get a .45. One and done.
