Well then....the left should leave the woman drooling in a corner somewhere rather than parading her around at every campaign for gun control advocacy.
Well, with Giffords doing her bit & "The Morgan & Jones 15 Minute Comedy Showcase" and all the recent events at theatres, malls & schools, seems the U.N. is seriously coming after American gun rights.
All well & good since Americans are more interested in being herded & empowered than anything else.
She's supporting gun laws already on the books so thats not much of a new story. I hope her recovery continues and wish her well, but she may want to focus on that and not be politicized over an issue the people have yet to decide upon.
Politicians need to just stay out of the way on this one, we the people will get back to them when we decide what is to be done.
Such an "anti-American hypocrite" she married a man who was a Captain in the United States Navy, flew combat missions during the Gulf War and was an astronaut.
Care to share with everyone the anti-Americanism of marrying an active duty member of the United States military?
I am starting to believe that there are people posting in this thread who genuinely hate Ms Giffords because she had the misfortune to get shot. And not just get shot, but she now has the nerve to actually want people to know she suffered, and continues to suffer, as a result. How dare she remind us that guns really do hurt people in real life?
We're not supposed to talk about that particularly since there isn't any way to blame the president for her injuries.
And, so much for their hypocritical "support" of the military and those who served. Look how fast that flies out the window when it turns out they aren't all "Rambo."
I wonder if they'll still support Gen. McCrystal after his statements.

Sorry gifford being a victim doesnt give her a pass for trying to take away my rights.
I wonder, does she have an armed escort wherever they set her out to be displayed?
Aside from her veteran husband who owns a gun??
