Yup. For example, the people buying our house are getting rid of the old oil furnace and putting in a new heat pump - not to mention any furnishings they're planning on buying.

A lot of money is exchanged in many different places when a house it bought, expecially with first time buyers.

Yup - as we did, when we bought this house - and as the new buyers will likely do for our house when the take position. That's the way it works.
