I had a very Jewish Christmas - the traditional dinner of takeout Chinese food. Now my friend and I are deciding if we wanna hit up the local casino, or just watch a movie at her house. Hope you're all having a pleasant evening!

Finished my Christmas shopping before 1 PM. Went to church, then to DD's house for dinner (pizza) and board games. Wonderful family evening with both the DDs and their significants (one husband and one boyfriend), and DD's inlaws from Mass. It started snowing when we left church, about 6 PM. Currently 20 degrees. This is metro Denver. Going back to DD's house tomorrow for dinner and presents.

Freezing my butt off in Minnesota here. Love it. Would have it no other way. Born and raised, East Side 651, forever in my blood.

My dad cooked our regular steak and lobster dinner we ate yesterday. I am blessed to have been born on the East Side of St. Paul, MN., USA.

Merry Christmas everyone; you're in my prayers during this especially tough Christmas season.

I spent Saturday and Sunday cooking, cooking and cooking. Made little mini pecan fruitcakes to take to a party, made a huge recipe of potato latkes (it starts with five pounds of potatoes) to take to relatives, made an apple pie to take to my sister's for Christmas Day dinner, and made a gingerbread house from scratch for my grandson. The dog ATE the gingerbread house so I made another one yesterday morning.

Now I'm at my sister's and enjoying taking it easy and being with family.

Merry Christmas everyone!

We had our white Christmas. It was snowing and the ground was white and sticking to the roads when we went to 7:00 PM church service last night and kept snowing until I'd guess about 10:00 PM. maybe 2 inches but it was enough and very beautiful.
We had a lite dinner last , just snacks. Fried shrimp, cocktail sauce, the worlds best ring bologna( Hippeys), and best potato chips( Goods) with dip, cheese and wine. Then watched some TV and fell asleep with the dog at my feet.
Now its all Day A Christmas Story and carols on the radio with a quiet pa dutch Christmas dinner( which is a feast).

Wishing for more snow...We have less than an inch on the ground right now but I want more

and hoping that my daughter's hives go away. She has had it for 2 days...the doc said it should go away within a few days.
