Where have we seen those kinds of societies? No thank you.

And PS: it still wouldn't stop the crazies.
How many persons would he have killed with a armed officer on campus....?

Maybe one more? Depends on where your fantasy hero was at the time I suppose. If he wasn't in the room it wouldn't have mattered. Unless you think an armed guard in every room might be appropriate. This is NOT a solution.

Well it will come to that if they try and take everyones guns. Good luck as I don't think our soldiers would be turning their guns on the citizens to impose this. They aren't all tools of evil like these mass murderers and many gun hating liberals are..

No, the people who like the body count would be that brand of conservatives who loooove putting more and more guns in the hands of anyone with a pulse and end up effectively defending the murder of a bunch of children for the sake of their lethal status quo.

All that were killed, +1. He would've just started with the unsuspecting guard. Seriously... duuuhhh?

A crazy person with a gun will always have the upper hand. Even in unsafe places, soldiers don't walk around with laser-sighted weapons drawn. If this were the case, there'd be peace in the Middle East.

Na the guy was a coward. If he knew that an officer was on campus he would have found more suitable victims for his cowardly deed.

^^ And, btw, I don't know when the last time you went to school was, but even most of the 'burbs have cops on campus now.

This one didn't and that is why he went there. Those gun free type zones are magnets for the mass murderers. Somehow the folks can't seem to figure out why though.

Maybe none , he was the kind of man that couldn't face trained law enforcement with guns ( and I'm not talking about security guards ) but law enforcement officers there's a big different between the two...

Is this typical drivel all that can be given in response to a well thought out and expressed post? Rasberries seem to be the limit of expression for the left.
