The gun was not the issue it's what the killer used........wonder how medicated he has been???
It's just any time someone is killed with a gun, people like you address the gun and not how the person had been acting weeks or days before.
Right you are. So often these horriffic acts are planned out to the final detail. And not overnight, these people generally show some sort of sign, whether it be a personality disorder, or a mental illness.
There are signs so often, that go unreported, or there are excuses made for the behavior, do not tell me nope, i lived a horror as this, so i know. Not in this magnitude, but the fact that someone i knew and loved, got mental with a personality disorder, like overnight.
We ourselves saw signs, but thought them to be stress and fatigue. When we tried to get him help, he refused, thinking we were the bad guys, and out to get him. He would not sign him in to get medical attention. He would not take his medicine reguarly.
Long story short, he was getting worse by the day, mafia was coming to our home, spying on him, Doctor's trying to posion him. He even wrote a book, about how he was going to kill, myself, my small children at the time, my Dad, my Mom, and others.
He did kill someone, and the problem that needs to be addressed, is how we get those who are mental, to seek the help that they need. Without his signature, no facility would accept him, no matter how hard we begged them too.
If you know of a person, whose moods have seemed to change drastically, their personality, is off the charts, please pay close attention, all too often, we see signs, but ignore them, or take them for something different.

Then I say shame on them as well. I don't sit glued to the TV and channel surf to see what other stations are doing. I just happened to hear it while I was doing things around the house. So if multiple outlets were interviewing children that would that make it OK in your book?
I see you take issue with the TV station I mentioned, not the fact that children who just went through a tragedy were being allowed by their parents and the media to be used as news fodder!! WOW.

It will be interesting to see what kind of medication the kid was on........the new way to keep our kids in control. Now they are saying he may have been jealous of his mom's love for her school children and not him.

Stuffing microphones in the faces of little children and doing a telephone interview and asking them to recount the school shooting? Children who are in shock and aren't able to comprehend the tragedy that they were involved in? Children who lost friends? Those children deserve the respect and the right to privacy as do the families that lost children and other family members.
When the names are released of the children and the adults that died, will you be banging down the doors to stuff a camera and microphone in the faces of the parents and family who lost a child or a family member?
Viki Soto, a 27 year old teacher, put the children in cabinets and cupboards and told them to be very quite and she confronted the shooter who asked where the children were and she told them they were in the gym, then he shot her. She protected your children while you put them on public display to recount something that took place just a couple of hours earlier - for what purpose???? Because they "look OK" and "acted OK" you believe that they are OK? Something has been taken from them!!!!
And the parents? Are you proud that you accommodated Fox News and allowed your children to be used as news fodder? Rather than shielding them and protecting them you put your children on public display. WTF were you thinking???

This is called investigative journalism, we sure aren't getting much information from the adults. Did you see the kids being led away from the school? The adults were causing them to panic. You can say 'rightfully so", but I see no harm in them talking about it. It's probably therapeutic. They're going to be hearing a lot more about this, unless you want to lock them away in their rooms and take away any communication with the outside world. You think it's best to pretend it never happened? That would be foolish.
