I just can't go for this whole gay thing in it's present form...I am almost 63
years old and have seen an increase in gay behavior over the decades -

The Vatican may have autonomy, but it doesn't comprise a nation. I do judge religions by their leaders. I would think most everyone does.
And the fact is that for the first millenium and a few centuries thereafter, homosexuality was not considered anathema by the Catholic Church. In fact, the word "homosexuality" didn't even exist. And "buggery" was a minor sin at best, certainly not an abomination.
