Obama bought a fixer upper economy from the Bush administration and if was going to keep it COO (certificate of occupancy) money was going to have to be spent. Spending only became a bad word when Obama became elected. When Bush was spending 12 Trillion dollars there was no outcry. When Bush put America on the Mother of All Debt Repayment schemes there was no outrage. From the nanosecond Obama won the nomination he has been castigated. Before he even put in a single day of work as POTUS he was labelled a failure.
People like hawkeye want CHARITIES to do what government should do and put the cost savings in their Cayman Islands numbered bank accounts. They want lower middle class and poor Americans to work for TIPS, paid by other poor Americans, and put the savings on payroll costs in their numbered Cayman Islands bank accounts.
Never let them see you cry Hawkeye, that's what I was told. You have let your side down horribly. Everyone see's your bluster for what it really is: crybaby acting out. Go ahead, dig in, obstruct as usual, stymie, filibuster, drive America off the Fiscal Cliff. The mandated cuts to the defense budget will almost make it worth it!

You should investigate why you wear blinders, and see politics like a football game. You have to first learn why you think like you do before you can ever hope to take off your blinders and see the world as it really is, and not the fantasy you wish it was.

I'm just glad I'm free to leave. We're to the point where life may very well be better elsewhere. It's kind of sad to leave but you don't stay on a sinking ship and this is a sinking ship so upside down, half mast flags are in order. For now, I'll defer any spending and get my financies into securities like gold and foriegn currency and wait for the US dollar to implode.

Just out of interest, where do you plan to go? Do you have dual citizenship somewhere so that they have to take you? If not, what do you have to offer a host country?

I never said I was interested in Austrialia (my daughter is interested in Austrialia) and I never said I was moving to Canada (I said I was investing in Canadian bonds because I believe their economy is safer than ours right now). Try reading my posts.
I like a democratic system. I just think this country is done. I don't think we can survive 4 more years of obama given the damage he's done in the first 3.5. He's a lousy leader. He makes poor financial decision. He just talks a good line. His actions show he's inept. He's either too stupid to run this country or he's trying to destroy this country. HE wants to make it a socialist country. I believe that is his goal but he'll have to destroy it first.
You can sit around and watch that happen if you want. You can pay the bill when obama's bill comes due, and it will come due....That's the problem with ubrideled spending. Eventually, the creditors want to be paid and then what do you do? What obama is doing is selling us to China. China holds enough of our national debt to be making demands of our government now. Add 6-8 trillion mor and they'll be in a great position to tell us what to do....
