""The irony is that the U.S. is protecting a pro-Iran Shiite regime in Baghdad against a Sunni-based insurgency while at the same time supporting a Sunni-led movement against the Iran-backed dictatorship in Syria," Hayden wrote. "The U.S. is caught in the contradictions of proxy wars, favoring Iran's ally in Iraq while trying to displace Iran's proxy in Syria.""
Note how the swooning brigade have no recourse but to attack the messenger. There is no defense for the failure that is known as Barrack Hussein Obama. We don't really know his real name I doubt.

Our military never left Iraq. We've had several thousand there even after we were declared "pulled out". Obama just wanted to appear to keep a promise. All those talking heads know this fact, yet they keep trying to convince the American people that we have cleared out. Imagine that - a president (and his administration) that lies! That almost never happens . . .

an agreement that could result in the return of small units of American soldiers to Iraq on training missions" and that a unit of Army Special Operations soldiers has already been deployed to Iraq to advise on counterterrorism and help with intelligence.
A loser brought us there. Not the loser we have now. The loser we had before.
I remember him.
The guy who got us in, then horribly mismanaged the whole thing, and left it for the next guy to clean up. After he made Iran the predominant power in the region by removing Saddam.
Brilliant.
