Where the heck do you live that a man would be arrested for wearing a skirt?
Obviously someplace that understands common sense. Being arrested does not mean that one is neccesarily charged with a crime. It should send a message, however.

Well you could tell that to this man but I wouldn't advise it! Nor would I advise you saying that to a Tongan or a Greek or any one of the other cultures who use 'dress-like' clothing.
What does wearing a skirt have to do with religion? I don't see folks walking up to any churches on sunday where the men are all wearing skirts. What kind of crazy church do you go to anyway? They handle snakes and the like or something there?

I'd love to see one of the guys on this thread go up to that Tongan warrior and tell him he should change his outfit because it's too 'feminine' for his fragile sensibilities
He wore a robe - which was acceptable for a man to wear then , and I would argue is still acceptale for a man to wear today.
He did not wear a dress.
Wait. He wore a dress, but just called it a robe. So if men wore dresses and called them robes, it would be fine. If a man wore a skirt and called it a kilt, it would be fine.
