Yes, quite sad to see how transparent the two sides of the same coin are. They rigged the two party system, and rather than working together for the good of the people, they collude for thier own enrichment. It's all an act and has been for twenty years.

Tragic to see it falling apart right before our eyes.

Democrats ignored reality all together. Republicans rejected reality and tried to substitute their own.

Epic failure, both parties.

Instead, congress agreed to an across the board 10% cut to all discretionary spending, unless their own comittee could come to an agreement, which they could not.
Please show me where Obama supported the Simpson-Bowles committee findings.

Simpson-Bowles committee never agreed on any resolutions. They wanted to balance the budget using S.S.I. money and then during yearly budget negotiations our balls less president, even before the fight started put S.S.I on the table. Now it's election time and of course the demos are running trying to hide the fact that the last budget they passed was a REthug budget which they did not have the votes to pass.

Sadly - many potential voters don't care.

They read "Simpson-Bowles" and an image of Bart smoking pot appears in their mind.

Dancing With The Stars is more important to them then the budget.
