Let us not overlook Joe Biden's hometown, Scranton, PA. The Mayor there, a Democrat, is knocking the pay for employees back to minimum wage. Why? Scranton too is broke.
Folks, this is no politically driven vendetta, that we are seeing in our cities and states. As a country, we are broke, in more ways then we can count. There is little understanding of shared sacrifice, and shared growth. What has gone on for way too long, is forced by governmental value decision making. Get government, the hell out of things, and over time, we will recover our prosperity and sense of community. It will be a long, slow slog, if we are up to it.
Continue to let politicians determine our values through 'programs', determination of what is right, wrong, fair and unfair; and it is just a discussion about how to arrange deck chairs in a fair way.
