Malkin: LaRaza Moves Up In Obama Administration

By Michelle Malkin January 13, 2012 6:59 am

With public attention focused on the GOP primaries, the White House quietly promoted another self-dealing lobbyist to serve as President Obama's top domestic policy adviser. Promises? What broken promises?
Cecilia Munoz, the current director of intergovernmental affairs at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave., will now serve as head of the Domestic Policy Council. She'll wield heightened influence at Obama's daily morning briefings and expand her reach from immigration issues to education, health care and beyond.
Gushing headlines heralded the advancement of Obama's top Hispanic civil rights "advocate" as a win for the "middle class." But Munoz is a veteran member of the Beltway lobbyist class whose former organization is reaping a taxpayer-funded windfall as she climbs the government ladder.

Before joining Team Obama, Munoz spent two decades as chief registered lobbyist for the National Council of La Raza ("The Race").

Eric Holder Silent on New Black Panthers' Racial Discord

From the very start of the Obama Administration, it has seemed that Mr. Holder believes and believes in giving a great deal of latitude to the New Black Panther Party, as his department refused to entertain the very thought of prosecuting two members of the Party on charges of voter intimidation after they were video-taped by independent observers standing outside a Philadelphia polling place with billy clubs in hand. One would not need to wonder what Mr. Holder actions would be if a black voter called the Department of Justice and reported an empty police car sitting alongside the road leading to a polling place in Florida; there would be calls for him to launch investigations into voter intimidation from political and media figures.

I also notice that none of the self-appointed black leaders such as Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton publicly condemned the hate-filled rhetoric and murder-for-hire tactics of the New Black Panther Party, yet they boasted in the past to be the Keepers of the Legacy of Martin Luther King, who actively preached against the very violence that the New Black Panther Party called for in the wake of the Trayvon Martin Shooting and the investigation that lead to the arrest of George Zimmerman. Al Sharpton even boasted about a possible increase in civil disobedience if Mr. Zimmerman was not arrested before the Special Prosecutor had a chance to investigation the case and file charges against him. It would seem that President Obama’s calls for civility in the wake of the Gabby Gifford shooting seemed to be lost on his number one ally in the black community in this case. ...........

Obama Administration Courts the Muslim Brotherhood

Obama Administration Courts the Muslim Brotherhood

Egypt’s Muslim Brotherhood has a long history of deception, promotion of Sharia law, anti-Semitism, and anti-Western values. Yet this does not seem to concern the Obama White House. Recently the Obama Administration wholeheartedly welcomed a delegation from the Muslim Brotherhood to Washington. It even suspended normal screening processes for them, including one member who, according to the Investigative Project on Terrorism, was “implicated—though not charged—in a U.S. child pornography investigation.”

In addition to turning a blind eye to suspected criminals, the Obama Administration has overlooked the Muslim Brotherhood’s policies and beliefs. The Brotherhood has explicitly stated it will not accept Israel as a state “under any circumstances.” The organization referred to Osama bin Laden with the honorary title “Sheikh” and called him a “shaheed” (martyr) after he was killed. They also have an intricate connection to the terrorist organization Hamas, which regularly attacks Israel.

This thread is not about any election, read the title and posts contained.

My opinion of the Tea Party is based on my own experience and interactions with REAL PEOPLE (as opposed to the nameless, faceless posters here): I have a number of close friends from high school who claim to be Tea Party Patriots. A couple of years ago, we all met for beers after a reunion... soon the conversation turned to "someone is going to have to kill the black man in the White House" and I had to express my disappointment and then leave. It would be very difficult to interpret this as anything other than blatant racism.

That's a great story, is there anything else you'd like to make up while you're on a roll?

I've been involved with the Tea Party since 2007 and have attended hundreds of Tea Party events. I know hundreds of people personally who support the Tea Party and I've never once heard anyone say anything about killing anyone, I've never heard anything about "the black man" in the White House and I've never heard anyone make a racist statement about the President. Of course your very limited knowledge coupled with your extreme liberal bias tells me that nothing you're saying is truthful.

Not even close andre. Most McCain voters do not belong to the Teaparty.

You guys can't bring up La Raza, the SPLC doesn't consider them a hate group and we all know that the SPLC isn't biased at all.

Believe me or do not, that is your own issue to resolve. My "story" is absolutely true.

I think it is funny that the Tea party is still scaring the hell out of the liberals.

Especially when Liberals first claimed that it wasn't real then claimed that it was dead about a million times since it started. For something that's been dead since 2008 it sure does keep a lot of their attention... although keeping the attention of liberals is on par with keeping the attention of a retarded monkey with a shinny object.
