Bain Capital is the most controversial company since Enron or Walmart.

They must ruining America.

They certainly ruined the diagnostics division of Baxter that I worked for back in the early 90s.

If it wasn't for Bain Capital, dozens of corporations wouldn't be in existence today. If it wasn't for dozens of companies like Bain Capital, hundreds of corporations wouldn't exist today. There are alot more winners than losers.

IMO Solyndra is way more controversial. Any monies Bain may have lost was private equity, on the other hand Obama bet BILLIONS of taxpayer dollars to help his donors, and the company flopped. Talk about crony capitalism, eh?

Maybe, maybe not. But if that is true, it is entirely an accident. Bain Capital does not care whether or not the companies succeed or fail.

Either will do as long as the investors make money.
