We have companies like Amway, which is nothing more than a glorified pyramid scheme.

Or, for something you may not have thought of, take a good, hard look at the NCAA. Every time you learn something new about them you find they have set a new standard for scumminess and corruption.

There is no shortage of unethical businesses, and it would be very hard to identify the absolute worst.
And some of them like Solyndra are doing it on tax payers dollars.

Not quite. Your list is flawed and just because you said they were prosperous doesn't make it true.

I think that Ronmey is going to have more fun in the debates than Obama. If we want to talk about who is ruining America, look at the above list.

Of course you have to actually CARE about things like that to notice.
So you're saying our president doesn't CARE - after all, Solyndra and companies like them laid off workers and impacted their communities. Or is that, as always, different?

Exactly. And those businesses would have gone out of business anyway, with or without the gypsies. In fact, the cash that paid for the crap might have kept a cashier employed just a little longer.

You just don't understand the definition of good and bad.

Good business: Obama bails out Solyndra and GM.... they fire thousands of workers and close bunches of dealerships. But he has empathy while wasting our tax dollars.

Bad business: Bain takes failing companies and combines their assets and market shares to produce a new company, breaks no laws, takes no government handouts and turns a profit. Since Bain doesn't take our tax dollars, they don't need empathy. And thousands of stockholders with a 401k love them.
