Below is a remarkable document. It's a memo circulated by Jan van Lohuizen, a highly respected Republican pollster, (he polled for George W. Bush in 2004), to various leading Republican operatives, candidates and insiders. It's on the fast-shifting poll data on marriage equality and gay rights in general, and how that should affect Republican policy and language.

What is with all of this gay stuff? Ever since NC passed that amendment and Obama announced he supports homosexual marriage, it seems all the news has been talking about is gay marriage, gay people, yada-yada. Shut up with it.
On CNN: there's a big ad saying "hypocrisy in same sex marriage debate?" Santorum to Romney- use same sex marriage as a weapon. What US thinks of same-sex marriage. Christians "come out" on TV. Open thread: thoughts on gay marriage.
Under the US section: Hot week: same sex debate
World: same sex marriage around the world
By the numbers: same sex marriage
Gay man "lukewarm" on marriage.
The "last paragraph" part is also a contradiction, homosexuality is the complete opposite of family values.
Why don't they pay this much attention into trying to protect disabled people or other people who get bullied for being overweight, who wear glasses etc?
