I hear all sorts of Democrat verses Republican rants and claims, and personally I don't care for a lot in both parties and I rather dislike Obama and for a host of reasons, but to be honest, I would like to hear of why you think he is doing a good job. Not slogans, but what has he done than made your life better. I don't see a lot of good that affects most Americans, but would like to hear otherwise.

If all you can do is name call and chant slogans, then don't bother posting because that means you are a "Sheeple" and don't really have an opinion. I would like to hear some positive, first person Obama stories if they are out there and responses to them.

As a liberal and civil libertarian I think he's done a horrible job.

We get these sort of threads over and over again and the OP's never mention who they will be voting for?

That's because when you name somebody, we can go and look at their record and see just how pro middle class they are.

Right winger never do that because they'd be embarrassed by their choice.

Why would you see it? It's not a painting on the wall? Did you bother doing any research here? What did the CBO say about the stimulus package?

His basic resume is:
- ARRA (you can google it if you don't know what that means and you can google the CBO analysis before complaining about it)
- Got bin Laden
- Bailed out Detroit thus saving hundreds of thousands of jobs and a lot of pensions
- Gays in the military
- Healthcare Reform (largely an amalgamation of what the Republicans tried to do in the 90's and what Romney did in Mass). 5 other Presidents had failed in the attempt
- Financial reform
- Got out of Iraq
- Reduction of troops in Afghanistan

Most of the dirt that people throw at him is just due to the economic conditions. None of the right wingers here want to give an objective analysis and own up to the mess that the right left for him before he took office.

Overall, he's done a good job in a horrible situation. I'd rather his comedy much higher than his performance in office though.

The new slogan three days ago ... .. was "watch my back" He found out no one is up to the task!

Hey Star! Great to see you over here!! I've been hanging out here for about a month or two! I've had it with the constant hostility in that "Other forum" which I choose to leave nameless!

The only GOOD thing we will EVER be able to say about Obama is - Whew; I'm glad he is GONE!

Totally agree. 100% of the people are never going to be happy with any President but he is doing a better job than the prior administration that got us in this mess. Obama is just trying to clean up 8 years of trash. (only my opinion)

Yearning for the good old days of Bush and DeLay, huh? How'd that end again? Right, the Great Recession and prison.

Try putting away the emotion and make an actual real argument sometime. Perhaps if you don't like the guy, you can be mature enough to explain why. By the way, no he's not responsible for the recession he inherited.
