Actually a Boycott would be interesting, but it would have to be complete or almost so to have an effect.

Unfortunately, I do think that far too many people only care whether their candidate gets in office not how.

This information (court docs) only came to light in 2011 from the 2004 election. Shows just one way and how easily a MiM approach can be used. The IT guy ended up dead.

The OP asserted "company Scytl that was given the rights to the presidential 2012 vote count." I don't know about your state but my local county provides the machines that I vote with. There is no central vote count. It's decentralized. So, this is my view of this thread:

Sour grapes and here comes the conspiracy theories.

The Republican/Tea Party Party have no one to blame but themselves. What viable candidate did they put forth? The only middle of road guy, that was not an idiot right wing fanatic was dissed early on. The Republicans have all this corporate money with agendas pouring in and they still have nothin'! Romney with all of his off shore bank accounts...what a patriotic guy.

We vote by bubble scanners that are counted by our Board of Elections. I know of no locality (except DC) where the federal government controls the voting. Those are the domain of the Boards of Elections.
