The recession was the worst in generations, do you think, for even a second, that the recovery would be swift? Obama never promised a quick fix.

It continues to baffle me, that people "blame" Obama for something that took more than one administration to bring about, and I'm talking back before GWB. The same people scream about gas prices now who were silent during the Bush Administration. (Hint, gas prices are not about a fuel shortage--think speculators).

Since President Obama has been in office, I have witnessed conspiracy central, declaring as truth everything from the birther nonsense, to civilian brown shirt armies, to bogus "indocrination", to FEMA camps, all perpetrated by the Right Wing. How can any of you ask to be taken seriously when you contionue to circulate that Bovine excrement. You then patently refuse to see beyond your own nose that your OWN PARTY was just as culpable in this mess than Democrats.

You declared Obama was a "Cut and Run" President when he said he wanted to get our troops the hell out of Iraq and Afghanistan, then cry and moan when it isn't fast enough. Make up your damned minds, willya?

Give me a small break, here.
Unemployment is down only if you don't count the people who have dropped out of the labor market since Obama took office. As for the recession being the worst in generations, you obviously didn't live through the Carter years. And, in fact, Obama did promise a quick fix. He stated that if the economy hadn't recovered by the end of his first term he would not deserve another. And he was right. He doesn't deserve re-election.

Agreed. Take a look at this interview from 2009.

President Obama on Economic Recovery - YouTube

"Look, the only measure of my success as president, when people look back five years from now or nine years from now, is going to be, did I get this economy fixed?" - Barack Obama

The resounding answer is NO!
