Lets say this country had a President that wasn't born in this country and was therefore illegitimate, would you want to know about it? Even if this man was a President you loved and totally backed on policy issues, would you care if evidence came forth that he was illegitimate according to the constitution? Would it bother you if a man born outside of this country, with foreign loyalties, was President?

Only a retard wouldn't know where the President was born.
No, not really... considering what a lousy job most of the US-born Presidents have been doing, maybe it's time we did allow a foreign-born individual to give it a shot.

Well..I would wonder how he even got on the ballot.
Once on the ballot you have to ASSume that Congress did their job of checking his credentials.
Congress has nothing to do with ballots for President. That is something states handle.
However, Congress does certify as valid all Electoral College votes. They did this in January 2009, President of the Senate Dick Cheney presiding. There was not a single objection raised.

Well then is it the party who validates them ?
The DNC for Dem candidates and the RNC for Repub candidates ?
I would imagine someone somewhere has to check the paperwork to make sure they are eligible to run before going on the ballot.
Obama was born in Vancouver, BC to a Kenyan father and an American mother.
Vancouver is fairly American. More power to Obama.

I don't spend much time pondering unlikely events. Since the Constitutional requirements are age and citizenship from birth, a birth certificate that's vouched for by the issuer is satisfactory. It would take some adopted baby with mistaken adoption papers, or other rare scenario, for a president whom a state affirms has a legit birth cert to be found to be otherwise.
And btw, the concerns about foreign allegiances? People born in the US can develop them, too. Being born here is no inoculation against that
