There should be a time limit for abortions...... probably 8 weeks. Abortions should not be performed after that time unless their are problems with the fetus or a real risk to the mother but early abortion should be a woman's choice.

He voted against a bill that was intended to undermine the Supreme Court RoevWade decision. Illinois already had laws protecting the life of a fetus in abortions where there was the potential ability of survival.
On March 30, 2001, Obama was the only Illinois senator who rose to speak against a bill that would have protected babies who survived late term labor-induced abortion. Obama rose to object that if the bill passed, and a nine-month-old fetus survived a late-term labor-induced abortion was deemed to be a person who had a right to live, then the law would "forbid abortions to take place." Obama further explained the equal protection clause of the Fourteenth Amendment does not allow somebody to kill a child, so if the law deemed a child who survived a late-term labor-induced abortion had a right to live, "then this would be an anti-abortion statute."

If a nine-month-old fetus survives a late-term labor-induced abortion, there it is, alive and breathing with arms, legs a body and a head. Probably even crying.
Obama won't deem that baby, that you can hold in your arms, to be a person who has a right to live. Obama is someone who would kill that baby.
If a baby is born prematurly, say at seven months, it is murder if you kill that baby.
But, it's not murder to kill a nine month old baby who survives a late-term labor-induced abortion?
It's right there. You can see it's a human baby. Why is it not wrong to kill that baby?
Then what do you do with it? Throw it in the dumpster behind the clinic with all the other fetuses?
