To the horror of the GOP, there is growing optimism about the economy and this reflects positively on President Obama. This, in an election year. Not good for the GOP. Great for the country though. Obama has prevailed.

Kudos to this great President Obama.

The title of the article would have been more accurate had it read:

Obama benefits from more FED quantitative easing which temporarily lifts lifts markets and gives people a false sense of security in the economy.

Yeah, when Americans are feeling good about their country, that's not a good thing for them politically. I'm just glad that Americans are becoming more optimistic period. Hopefully events this year will bear themselves out and lead to better spirits. All this pessimism the past four years has gotten really old.

There will be much optomism when Obama is fired in November.

Can you prove it is just from the QE from the Fed and it's temporary?

You know, knowledge and rationality requires proof...not just belief.

And Pravda wrote glowingly of the Soviet economy.

I sure hope the new optimism extends to the housing market!

After roughly a decade of fear and anxiety, people just want to get on and live their lives.

All you have to do is look at the cycles of QE in relation to market rise and devaluation of the dollar. The FED will ease through the election cycle to keep in their guy just as the ECB is engaging in easing to get through European elections this year.

Seriously, you need to do your own homework instead of always telling other people to spoon feed you.
