So this is MSNBC new slogan..It could be just a play on "lean left" which is what they get accused of..I saw a clip of Ed Schultz promoting them and he is pretty left wing.
I stream MSNBC online everyday when I get home and the only commericals that are played are self-promoting "Lean Forward" MSNBC advertisements. These promos make me nauseus because there are so many holes that can be poked in proclomations made therein.
My favorite is when Rachel Maddow (while standing under a huge arch/span bridge) spews that we need government to "fulfill projects like this" because it's "never going to be profitable" (as she proclaims) for a private company to engage in such massive projects.
Who the **** does she think she's kidding? Since when does the USG have it's own engineering/design/construction company? LOL Of course a project like that will be profitable for "some company".....because the project will be completed via contract with private firms!
Such a ****ing douche hag. And liberals lap it up like it's pure genius.

Every news organization leans one way or another. I fail to see how "Lean Forward" would have any bearing on which direction (left or right) that the station is.
'Lean forward' is pretty close to 'Bend Over' when you think of it, which is pretty much what 'Progressives' expect us to do when they decide for us that we're getting universal health care and such whether we want it or not.

You can't be serious? "Lean Forward" is very clearly linked to progressivism given the network spewing this crap is very hardcore left in its reporting.
Lean Forward to me implies believing in Progress, to move forward. So, the slogan clearly targets progressives. The opposite would be "Fair and Balanced" used to target conservatives, a more attractive alternative to "moving backwards" or "status quo".
Now, since progressivism is largely supported by liberals, it is not surprising that you would make "Lean Forward" synonymous with "Lean Left".

So-called 'Progressives' rather vainly ascribe to themselves, and themselves alone, the notion of forward-mindedness. It's the same vainglorious self-promotion that the New York Times engages in when they claim to publish 'all the news (that promotes democrat party dogma) that's fit to print'.
