But no, 8 years of Clinton is enough. Only Republicans seem to want presidents to rule for life...and when they get old, they want the "next in line" or the son to take over (think Bush 1 and his son Dumbya Bush, the Village Idiot from Texas.)

America is not North Korea or Iran, nor are we a monarchy where one family or ruler rules for life. Only conservatives support such nonsense.
Where has this been said ever? Post a link.

Or how about the economy as he was leaving office.

"Bill Clinton Revisits His Economic Legacy"
Bill Clinton on deregulation and the bailout:

One policy Clinton said he doesn't regret is his repeal of the Glass-Steagall Act in 1999, which, for the first time since the Depression, allowed commercial banks to engage in investment banking activities.

Clinton said he has two regrets: First, not pursuing more aggressively an aborted attempt to provide stricter oversight of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. According to Clinton, the move was stymied by Democratic and Republican members of Congress and by mayors, who saw the lending giants as "the New Jerusalem" and "pure" because of their role in increasing home-ownership to historic levels. But "it just didn't feel good," Clinton said of Fannie and Freddie's outsized political influence.

To answer the OP's question: Yes. They'd run away from Obama like scalded dogs.

No he will not, because nobody in Congress gives a damn about the US Constitution these days. Obama could declare himself dictator for life and the current Congress would be just fine with that.

You mean the same NAFTA that the GOP created in 1984 and introduced, twice, before Clinton came along? Suddenly it is Clinton's fault because the GOP controlled Senate gave their consent?

You mean the Glass-Steagall Act that was passed by a VETO-PROOF majority in the GOP controlled Congress?

I can blame Clinton for a great many things, but NAFTA and repealing Glass-Steagall are not among them. Only complete idiots, who have absolutely no clue how their own government functions, could blame Presidents for acts of Congress.

All it meant was that the GOP had balls and the Dems didn't.

If the Dems had good leadership in the House instead of Pelosi when they controlled it during Bush's 2nd term than Bush would have also been impeached.

Clinton as president again? WOW. He could sell the other half of the US to China and be done with it.
