Right on the money...REAGAN ruined the repub party with the trash he used to get voted in.
Many have said the only reason Reagan got elected is because he ran against Carter...had he ran unopposed,he would have lost.
Oh yeah, because... before Reagan came along and "ruined the repub party," the republicans were enjoying decades of majority rule in both houses of congress, and they really mattered when it came to Washington politics.

No...before Reagan they were conservative with a clear message regardless of whether a person agreed with them or not...their message was defined...after Reagan used the predominate frontal lobe Evangelicals to get elected and went into wild spending, nation building, global police work, illegal amnesty etc etc he redefined the repub base...I gather you are another one who writes your own history.
People wonder why both parties are basically the same deal, just different players and different chosen winners.
Look at all the Democrats that have jumped to the Republican party over the last Century and brought their Progressive values with them.
The Constitution means nothing to the Non-democratic one ideology, two party system.
Both have become globalist, nation building, new world order, pushers.

What a load of plant food. The reason the GOP is in trouble is extremists from the far right are attempting to take over and right now they are getting close. The real Republicans need to purge their Party of the Tea Baggers and the RINO Librats such as Paul from their Party and just then they might re-establish the Republican Party I used to respect.

Exactly, it's like these Reagan and Bush lovers only pay attention to what they say; Not what they actually do. Hyprocrites is all they are.

I owe you another rep when I can
You are saying it like I have felt for a long time....purge their own party before they worry about the Dems (who have major problems of their own).

Yea, well you guys welcomed ol' Strom Thurmond and Co. back in the day with open arms, and i know EXACTLY why you did it.
So if those Dems have messed up the party, too bad.
BTW....the Republican party was a joke anyway long before Dems started jumping ship. Wake me up when you guys dig up T.R. and breathe life into him. Then i might actually listen.

I 100% agree...with all of their faults at least the Dems are not hypocritical...hypocrisy runs unabated in the RWNJ world...they are family values all the way,but are lead by and love hypocrits to the bone.....they want to cut all subsidies, unless of course it's to big business or corporate farmers etc etc.
Hypocrits one and all.
