No, they do not. Read their charter. It is peaceful protest. But, I shall not argue that point with you any longer. When someone walks into a room and two people are arguing loudly, it is diificult to determine the fool.

The closing of the port. Agreed. Our original colonists destroyed British tea (property), closed a port, (business stoppage), and ultimately raised arms against a tyranical, non-representative power.

Again, the OP points, specific to the two you raise, are not valid.

I'll read the OWS charter right after the OWS members do since they clearly aren't following it if they did read it.

All of the points that have been raised here are 100% valid, you just don't like them.

The premise of this thread was to compare the Tea Party to OWS and the FACTS show that they're very different types of movements, the Tea Party was non-violent and OWS has been a very violent movement with violent incidences taking place all over this country.

Liberals have been claiming this for a year now in repeated threads here on CD, why do you guys still talk about a movement that's history?

A year? Try two. At least.

They were claiming it was irrelevant from day one. "It won't last." "We'll see where you are a year from now." The insults just wouldn't stop. And neither did we...

Here's to 11/6/2012!

What are liberals going to do when the Tea Party begins to get involved in the 2012 election process?

Yeah, I've been watching how police all over America have been kicking Tea Party protesters out of their encampments in public parks and begun the process of cleaning up the TONS of trash the Tea Party folk have left behind.

Too bad many of the Tea Party protesters had to get violent with the cops after they were asked to leave.

Shift the topic, Ignore the facts, Continue the name calling
it's the only thing they can do, or know how to do

Ask any liberal what America should be, and he'll chew your ear off. Ask him what's wrong with America, and he'll offer you a reading list. But ask him what America is, besides a massive social service center or a collection of war crimes and corporations, and he'll have no real answers and just go to the liberal handbook and deflect as usual...they are so predictable
