This is what the OWS should have done in the first place. This will affect change, not blocking sidewalks and streets, shutting down intersections and whole neighborhoods, illegally camping at and trashing public spaces, and deliberately provoking the police to violence.

I may even support this, once I know what the OWS' specific goals or platform is in detail. Thoughts?:

I agree - this is far more productive. Now maybe their PAC can pay back all the money that's been spent by the cities to deal with all the problems they've caused?

Finally! It's fine to protest, but doing it for two months straight gets old and this is much more productive.

I'd like to believe this could work, and they could capitalize on the two months of attention they've built up due to the massive growth of the movement, but I doubt it. It's sad enough that what it really takes to get noticed is money, but whats even more sad is the level of wealth that must be used. Easily, the biggest problem in this country is the Corporate and Banking Occupation of the Government. It doesn't matter how wrong one side is, how underhanded one side is, or immoral and greedy one side is. That side has the money. That side runs things. I don't want it to happen, but there's no way this iron grip the Corporations and Banks have on this country can ever end in a peaceful way. Like George Carlin said: "...they own this ****ing place".
