I'm very much sympathetic to the original message of the Occupy Wall St. protesters, but this has spiraled out of control. The movement has been populated by hoodlums, and it's beginning to look like the streets of England did this past summer. Just random acts of vandalism and violence - that's what this 'movement' is probably leading to.
He does that with every post he makes... and this guy brags about being an educator...
Wonder why the students turn out to be are left wing radicals...?
Um...have you ever been inside my classroom? How do YOU know my teaching methods? I am an educator. (I know you guys don't like educators because we supposedly brainwash and manipulate children) And I don't give my opinion to students. I steer them away from blatantly biased news sources--both left and right. I consider both Fox and MSNBC to be biased, so I don't show news clips of those channels in my classroom. Got a problem with that?
If you wish to make judgments on how I do my job, why don't you come into my classroom and see, instead of making an idiot of yourself on a public forum. Of course you wouldn't because it's easier to be an armchair critic. My co-workers, students and the people in my very conservative town like what I'm doing.
Everything the media said the Tea Party was, Occupy is.
The Tea Party richly deserved the criticism it received. It was a movement bankrolled by elitists who played on the fears of the existing mainstream white middle class. The message of the tea party made it clear that, not all, but a great many within that movement, fantasize about violence as a political tool.

And yet they didn't commit numerous violent acts as have the OWS "movement". That's the glaring fact that won't go away.
