Stupid, huh? That is the ideology of failure at work. In case you didn't know, it's not only the environmental damage caused by fossil fuels, it's also the fact that oil is a finite resource. We are in a race to the bottom, the ideology of failure (and record profits)

It's gonna be an uphill battle to change American's knowledge base when considering the vast amount of money that the oil industry has at its disposal, to say nothing of the jobs they provide.

There is no reason that an alternative cannot be as lucrative, to say nothing of being less harmful to the planet, which is conveniently overlooked, ignored, or outright dismissed by climate change denialists.

Remember, this is from the protest in Philadelphia, NOT Wall Street

Protests run on Dunkin'...

CEOs make too much money! BRB need $8 drink.

How DARE --HOW DARE THEY try and tell us we HAVE to pay rent or we get EVICTED!!! This is so unfair! (Nutter = Mayor Nutter of Philadelphia)

But remember: The people protesting don't want Communism.

No Communism here. Moving along.

Ah, Finally. Someone who made some sense. Ok maybe he smells like pee and vomit, but FINALLY someone is spot on.

Despite all of these pictures.. this one makes me happy. We need more of THIS, than some of the other signs I saw/posted.

These are the ten planks of the Green New Deal:

* Cut military spending at least 70%
And when another 9-11 occurs these same people will still be blaming the government
* Create millions of green union jobs through massive public investment in renewable energy, mass transit and conservation
You can't create private sector jobs with public money. Government can't run itself much less a business. Look at the USPS
* Set ambitious, science-based greenhouse gas emission reduction targets, and enact a revenue-neutral carbon tax to meet them
Who's going to reap the profits from this?
* Establish single-payer “Medicare for all” health care
Who pays for it? Who regulates it?
* Provide tuition-free public higher education
Again, where's the money come from?
* Change trade agreements to improve labor, environmental, consumer, health and safety standards
All you need to do is to start voting intelligently. They all whine but they re-elect the same clowns over and over and over......
* End counterproductive prohibition policies and legalize marijuana
Let's all just smoke a little grass, drop a little acid and listen to the Grateful Dead on our I-pods. Get real!
* Enact tough limits on credit interest and lending rates, progressive tax reform and strict financial regulation
You had state set credit limits until Bill Clinton shoved the Commodities Modernization Act of 2000 up America's big giant sleeping A$$!
* Amend the U.S. Constitution to abolish corporate personhood
If corporations are out so should be all unions.
* Pass sweeping electoral, campaign finance and anti-corruption reforms
And how are you ever going to get the politicians to vote for that?

America is broke people. We can not afford to keep spending at the present rate much less spend more to give everyone there free college, free medical, free weed and free lunch.
There is no free lunch. Want to fix America? Roll up your sleeves and get to work. Y'all aren't entitled to jack sh1t! Want something? Work for it.

Let's make 2012 an error correction election and send Barrack Obama back to the cesspool better known as Chicago, Illinois!

How many do you think are out there demonstrating while taxpayer foot the bill for their college grants and loans?

After carefully looking at the comparative photos, I have finally figured out the biggest difference between Tea Partiers and the Occupiers: The Tea Partiers are fatter.

Somehow I have a thought that none of these people have ever seen how the peasants on the collective farms in the Soviet Union lived. They usually lived in huts that were nothing but hovels and the farming they had to do was just too stupid. Until they were given small plots to raise gardens on so they could take the produce to town to sell the much better paid factory workers they didn't work much.

In 1977 I was fortunate enough to be at summer school when a sociology professor who had been to the Soviet Union reported on what it was like on those farms and although they could have shot him had they caught him showed the pictures he took while there. That was 60 years after the revolution and life was worse for them except that they found they could force the government to do some things different.

Some of the things the farmers told him were like there was one commune tractor and each farm got it when the time came not when they needed it and it was always broke down when they got it. They got to the elevator with maybe half a truck of wheat since the roads were so rough and often they didn't even have end gates in their trucks. The birds loved the way they hauled their crops.

These people are pushing for a chance to live like that and don't even know it. My problem with these things involves how soon Agenda 21 can be put into effect if that ever happens here. I think that over 95% of our people would be dead very soon after Agenda 21 goes into effect. These dummies have been brainwashed from 1st grade on.
