it's been two weeks since sheriff arpaio announced that his cold case posse would be doing an inquiry into the obama eligibility issue ( Posse certificatus: Sheriff probes Obama birth document ). not an investigation, just an inquiry to see if there was evidence and jurisdiction to pursue an investigation into the matter ( either directly from the maricopa county sheriff's office or to turn over to another law enforcement agency ). it seems to me that this type of inquiry would take only a few days at most but...... two weeks later and no commitment from sheriff joe for any kind of investigation.
does anyone believe an investigation still will happen?
only two weeks ago the birthers ( and WND ) were proclaiming this to be the "game changer" and that sheriff joe would bring down the usurper. now that it appears that nothing will happen ( and, imo, sheriff joe was just giving lip service to appease the surprise tea party )........... silence.
Why isn't he trying to deter and catch criminals? Wasn't that why he was elected sheriff? If I was a constituent, I would be upset that he was wasting time chasing fairy tales instead of focusing on crime.

Because falsifying a birth certificate and lying to the people that think they elected you isn't a crime? Hmmmm.
Let's see, Birther investigations have been going on for 3 damn years and besides finding the people who should be committed to psychiatric wards (like Orly Taitz), there has been nothing found. Another 2 weeks of a raving loony looking isn't going to do anything to make the lunatics case at all.
