i doubt joe ever had any intentions of going to hawaii and i'm not sure there would be anything he legally could investigate on the islands. he can't issue a subpoena ( in contradiction to what WND initially reported ) and even if he were to obtain one for the birth certificate the hawaiian DoH is legally bound not to comply ( we already saw that with orly ). the only way to get any agency to release private records is with a court order. for that you need solid evidence that a crime has been committed and nothing to date the WND "experts" have put forward would meet legal standards ( unless MORebelWoman has seen something i haven't ).
but i still encourage the birthers to stay on sheriff joe for updates.

Maybe Joe could hook up with Donald Trump since The Donald said that his investigators found ALL sorts of things on Obama....then had egg on his face when he was proved a liar by President Obama.

currently the "cold case posse" that joe has inquiring to see if there should be an investigation is all volunteer and is not directly paid for their time ( altho i do believe they could receive a tax write-off for their labor ). if they do proceed with an investigation i do believe that any expenses would be the responsibility of the tax payer. not sure, that's why i'm hopeful that the birthers stay on joe for updates.
