Maybe:

Because they support the democrat promise of paygo?

Because they don't want to unknowingly give money to people in prison again?

Maybe just trying to ensure the money spent goes to where it is intended to?

Maybe being responsible with the income earners money?

Since when is it taxpayers' responsibility to mitigate the losses of people with homes in disaster-prone areas? Is that not what homeowner's insurance is for?

Stand firm, Dems! Make sure the GOP's victims this time around (everyone waiting for help from FEMA) know EXACTLY who to blame for this fiasco- the crazed RW money cult that is today's so-called "GOP"
Yep. Just spend, spend, spend, borrow, borrow, borrow. The true leftist way.

The promise of "paygo?" What are you talking about? They didn't have a problem extending Bush tax cuts that increased our debt by almost 4 trillion, but now they have a problem with 3.7 billion? That's just dumb.

Keep passing bills and let the tea party vote them down. The American public will get the picture very clear who's side the tea party is on.

I have a better question.

Since when is it taxpayers responsibility to liberate and rebuild other nations homes in war torn and disaster-prone areas? Isn't that what their country should be for?

Apparently the idiots in Washington haven't figured the answer to that question.

Maybe if we expand the disaster aid to trillions, the GOP will be for it because they tend to like expanding the USA's debt by the trillions. That's how they roll.
