Consumers can't be positive about spending, when so many Americans have lost their jobs, some their prized possesions their homes. Some smaller businessess have closed and there is so much uncertainty amongest Americans. They don't know what tomorrow will bring, so why spend.
Cannot say you that have been on your job forever will not lose it, when i know first hand Middleaged Men who were on their jobs that they loved some for over 20 years. Now gone, depressed, some lost their homes too. Some people i know out of State have given up on looking. Why will people want to spend. This is going to be a very bleek Christmas, for so many i know this year. The very sad thing that kills me, are those young children who no longer have a place to rest their heads at night, because they no longer have a home, and that is so sad.
