You are certainly right about what they want. I just wonder which of the 5 non progs on the bench may have an assassination attempt aimed at him. Surely black people must be tired of a black president trying to get rid of a black judge going on.

You're talking as if the Republicans have done nothing wrong from 2001-2008. Lying to the UN Security Council and to the entire world basically about the War in Iraq is a tad worse than wanting a corrupt Justice out of the SCOTUS.

Of course the progs want to appoint another prog before the Republicans win the next election. If they appoint a prog to replace Ginsburg they gain nothing but if they could get Thomas to recuse instead of that woman who worked so hard to get Obamacare passed they could surely keep the law a law.
