Hey OP, no one stops anyone from paying more to the US government. Have you mailed your check here yet?

Government - Gift Contributions to Reduce Debt Held by the Public

You and your Progressive buddies who want higher taxes, more spending, and more entitlements can send in all the money you want to the government; so, just do it!

Wonder why the GOP is not listening to the American people.
So they want higher taxes on OTHER PEOPLE? They want to enslave the minority and make them serve the majority? Why don't we vote to tax all the Jew's at 99%? There's more of us than them, right? We'll outvote them and make them do our bidding! What tyranny.

We have a spending problem, not a revenue problem. When the liberals start collecting money from the 50%+ who don't pay ANY income taxes, then I *might* be willing to go back to those evil "rich" people and ask for some more.
Sing it loud

I concur...

Washington better get there heads out of the backside and into the game.

Don't be silly. Nobody's talking about that. The highest that the top tax rates would go is 39% (when the Bush tax cuts expire). That's hardly slavery. But then, some of you consider paying even a penny to be slavery.

So 69% want to raise taxes on the 2% who already pay 43.6% of all personal federal income taxes.

Sounds fair

I just want my whole paycheck to go to the government.
Who knows how to manage money better than our wise noblemen?

Besides, I'll just squander it on personal possessions like a home, car, clothing, etc.
Time to think of the collective.

Amazing isn't it!
That's like the White plantation owner's voting that the Blacks will pick the cotton....
The willingness of some people to use other people's lives and property for their own purposes is horrendous. What leeches!

Stop being shrill. Taxation does not inherently equal slavery. Taxes have been around since civilization began. Perhaps you should look at the top tax rates under Roosevelt and Eisenhower. That might calm you down a bit.

BTW, American slaves had to deal with much worse than what you're complaining about. Don't insult their memory by comparing yourself to them.
