We're discussing AmEx not taking payment for an illegal product. The discussion isnt whether that product should be illegal or not.

What a joke. There is no such thing as "medical marijuana" and it is simply a back door effort to begin the process of legalization. The studies supporting the use of "medical marijuana" is junk science that could never be published in a decent journal, like NEJM.

If you want to get stoned- get stoned. Just don't call pot "medicine". It is ridiculous and harkens to Granny from the old television show "The Beverly Hillbillies" referring to moonshine as "rheumatiz medicine". Pot, like grannie's "shine", is appealing to some, but is not "medicine".

That's funny. There are about 10 dispensaries where I can go and legally by pot within a mile or two of my house.
