Good!! About time people start being a little more courteous....

Texas movie theater makes an example (and a PSA) of a texting audience member | The Lookout - Yahoo! News

And then lies about it....

Glad this company did this....hilarious!!

Most of the theaters I have been to have a sign at the door that using a phone during a movie is grounds for expulsion. It even asks you nicely to turn your phone off when the movie is starting.

Its their business, you should have to follow their rules.

Luckily they are in Texas. Had it been a different state, they could be up on felony wiretapping charges for using the recorded audio.

Eh? It was a voicemail. Leavaing a message rather implies consent to being recorded, no?

Now that's a good-news story.

Too many a**holes out there with no qualms about crapping up the theater experience.

Toss 'em out.

H
Why should he have to go somewhere else?

This happened in Detroit, it was called "white flight". Instead of standing up for the neighborhoods where people had lived for 50 years, they evacuated the city because a particular racial group decided to start acting like untrained animals with rabies.

That statement doesn't make me a racist, it doesn't mean that all black people are evil, but it is what happened.

How many people where in high school and watched a group of loud, obnoxious african americans getting a pass for their behavior, simply because of their race? How many people have seen city pools closed down because african americans showed up and ran a lot of other people away with their behavior?

There are a lot of good black folks out there, but turning a blind eye to reality isn't helping anyone. There is a sense of entitlement in the poor black community, and until they don't feel entitled anymore, they won't better their place in society at all. Back in the 60's, African Americans were trying hard in school, trying hard to show every racist white person in the south that they to could learn, learn better, and act civilized. After the civil rights act, its like everything went down hill. The President of the United States is an African American, but if you asked most poor black kids who they want to be when they grow up, its probably Lebron or some rap star.

Its time to quit ignoring reality, and let people stand on their own merits. As I said before, saying what I did is not an afront on all african americans, its simply an acknowledgement of reality.
